Comfort Residence Ltd is a newly registered Supported Accommodation provider looking for a passionate, experienced and safeguarding-focused Service Manager willing to become an Ofsted Registered Manager and lead our Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation service for young people aged 16+.
We are seeking a strong leader with previous experience as a Deputy Service Manager (or similar senior leadership role) within Supported Accommodation for 16–18-year-olds, who is ready to step into a Registered Manager position or already has registration experience.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working within Supported Accommodation for young people aged 16+
- Previous experience as a Deputy Service Manager or equivalent leadership role within Supported Accommodation
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Good understanding of Ofsted regulations and Supported Accommodation Standards
- Experience managing staff, incidents, risk assessments and safeguarding concerns
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining high standards of care and compliance
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full right to work in the UK

- Based in Kent, preferably near Sittingbourne
- Or willing to relocate/travel reliably to Sittingbourne
- Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
- Confident in leading an Ofsted-regulated service
- Committed to maintaining a safe, stable and homely environment for young people
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Supported Accommodation service
- Promote safeguarding and ensure young people are protected from harm
- Support young people towards independence, EET engagement and positive outcomes
- Supervise and support staff performance and development
- Ensure compliance with Supported Accommodation Regulations and Ofsted requirements
- Oversee incidents, risk management, key work and placement matching
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
