Tippers are the Midlands' leading builders’ merchant suppliers and we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team at our Rugeley Branch. If you enjoy building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and being part of a successful and ambitious team, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing
- Building and developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Growing sales, margin and account spend in line with agreed targets and KPIs
- Identifying, pursuing and winning new business opportunities across your territory
- Managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts to maximise revenue potential
- Working closely with branch teams, suppliers and customers to drive commercial success
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and commercial opportunities
- Delivering a customer-first approach and providing exceptional levels of service
What we're looking for
- Proven success in a B2B sales or business development role
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Results-driven with a proactive and target-focused mindset
- Tenacious, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for sales
- Ability to identify opportunities and turn them into profitable business
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to travel across your territory
- Ambitious, driven and eager to contribute to the continued success of the business

- Alternate Saturday mornings (8:00am – 12:00 noon)
