Summary
The Governors of St Paul's CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant (level 2a). The post is for 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Working the hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm. We would be looking for the successful candidate to join us from September 1st 2026.

We are looking for individuals with excellent people skills who can nurture and support our children with their learning and to live by our school ethos 'To encourage one another and build each other up'. Duties, under the supervision of the teaching staff, will involve implementing learning activities for individuals and groups, monitoring pupil progress and establishing strong, supportive and constructive relationships with children and their parents. Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs across all primary phases is desirable.

The post will initially be for a fixed term contract until 31/08/2027 but there may be the possibility to make the role permanent at the end of the contract, subject to budget review.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) to grade C or above
