This role is ideally suited to an experienced cleaner who is ready to progress into a supervisory position, with the opportunity to develop into a management role over time. Full support and training will be provided by the Business Owner/Manager.

The Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will work closely with our cleaning teams to ensure all work is completed to a consistently high standard. You will support and train staff, carry out quality checks, help manage daily operations, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role that combines cleaning, supervision, staff support, and operational responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervising cleaning staff across various sites and jobs
- Carrying out regular quality control checks and customer satisfaction visits
- Training, supporting, and motivating new and existing staff
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed professionally, efficiently, and to company standards
- Managing staff attendance and arranging cover for absences when required
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning products, materials, and equipment
- Ensuring company vehicles are clean, maintained, and roadworthy
- Completing accurate records and updating company systems
- Assisting the Business Owner/Manager with day-to-day operational duties
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous cleaning industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
- Proactive, flexible, and reliable with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- IT literate and comfortable using company systems/apps
Desirable Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ cleaning industry experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience managing teams and conducting quality inspections
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and health & safety procedures
