Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, contributing to landscape maintenance, construction projects, and general site upkeep. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Using excavators and other machinery for excavation or site preparation tasks
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
- Performing general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Supporting team members in site clean-up, organisation, and safety compliance
- Assisting with horticultural activities including planting, fertilising, and pest control
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools such as spades, trowels, saws, and wrenches
- Familiarity with operating excavators or other heavy machinery is advantageous
- Understanding of irrigation systems installation and repair techniques
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks on equipment and site facilities
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual labour in outdoor conditions
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety protocols during all operations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
