The role of Nationwide Electrician/Tester:
- Installing electrical building services — 1st and 2nd fix on commercial and industrial projects
- Safely and effectively inspecting and testing electrical installations
- Assisting with end-of-project reports for HSE and project sign-offs
- Working closely with electricians on site and management teams for technical support on compliance and project paperwork
- Keeping up to date with industry regulations and HSE governing bodies
- Balancing a mixture of office-based and on-site duties
The ideal Nationwide Electrician/Tester:
- Gold JIB card
- BS7671 18th Edition
- 2391 Testing Qualification (desirable but not essential)
- IPAF and PASMA not essential but advantageous
- Experience with electrical inspecting, testing, and installation
- Previous experience on commercial/industrial projects such as offices, retail, and fit-outs
- Strong compliance and HSE focus
- Full UK Driving Licence — travel required
- Ability to work nationwide
