Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team. This role involves ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards, providing our customers with a pristine and professional appearance. Prior experience in janitorial work or customer service is advantageous, and a valid driving licence is preferred for certain duties. Responsibilities
- Clean and detail vehicles thoroughly, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior cleaning
- Ensure all vehicles meet company quality standards before delivery or customer collection
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as required to uphold vehicle presentation standards
- Drive vehicles as needed for test drives or movement within the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally and courteously
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial work or vehicle cleaning is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishings
- Good driving skills with a valid driving licence preferred; ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Excellent customer service skills, capable of engaging positively with clients and team members
- Organised with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
