Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various holiday lodges. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in cleaning services to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and visitors alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital settings is highly desirable. All positions are permanent and contracted. Due to the location own transport is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas.
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and instructions provided by supervisors.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within allocated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or sanitisation procedures in sensitive environments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively during shifts.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

- Hours are negotiable but will be a minimum 16 over 3 days but at busy times it could be more. Available to work either a Saturday or a Sunday will be required.
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
