RE Teacher Required
A secondary school in Slough is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated RE Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach RE at Key Stage 5 would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and Humanities department.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, Humanities, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching RE within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per day
