Sales Manager – Perfume & Oud KioskPosition Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and overseeing the daily operations of the perfume and oud kiosk. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, maintains high merchandising standards, manages inventory, and upholds a clean, professional, and welcoming retail environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Promote and sell the company's range of perfumes, oud, and related fragrance products.
- Provide expert product knowledge and personalized fragrance recommendations to customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
Kiosk Operations
- Oversee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the kiosk.
- Ensure all products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and coordinate replenishment to prevent stock shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.
Opening Procedures
- Open the kiosk in accordance with company schedules and operational guidelines.
- Conduct daily opening checks of inventory, displays, POS systems, and equipment.
- Ensure the kiosk is clean, fully stocked, and prepared for customer service before trading begins.
- Verify cash float and ensure all sales systems are operational.
Closing Procedures
- Perform end-of-day sales reconciliation and cash management procedures accurately.
- Secure inventory, cash, equipment, and all company assets.
- Complete closing reports and ensure all operational records are up to date.
- Shut down equipment and secure the kiosk according to company security procedures.
Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation at all times.
- Ensure fragrance displays, counters, shelving, storage areas, and equipment are cleaned regularly.
- Conduct routine housekeeping duties throughout the trading day.
- Report maintenance requirements and operational issues promptly to management.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise, support, and motivate kiosk staff to achieve sales and service objectives.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and performance management.
- Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Ensure staff consistently follow opening, closing, cleaning, and merchandising standards.
Additional Duties
- Represent the brand professionally and uphold the company's image at all times.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Continuously monitor market trends and customer preferences within the fragrance and oud industry.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management to support business objectives.
Overall Responsibility
Responsible for maximizing sales and profitability while managing all aspects of kiosk operations, including customer service, inventory control, cash handling, merchandising, opening and closing procedures, team supervision, and maintaining a premium shopping experience for customers purchasing perfumes and oud products.
