Field Service Engineer (Xray/CT/EDS/Electronic security)

The Role
We are seeking to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the maintenance, service, installation, and breakdown repair of a wide range of sophisticated Xray, CT, & EDS Imaging Systems as well as a wide range of technical products and services, including IP CCTV, access control & PID’s. As a Field Service Engineer, you are required to be on-call 1 week in 4, with occasional extra cover for holidays etc and must be open to supporting international contracts and projects, which will involve overseas travel and may involve irregular hours. Additional allowances are payable for callouts and travel.
Your Background
To thrive in this exciting role, a competent background in a service or maintenance engineering capacity is a fundamental requirement. This role is hands-on and requires practical problem-solving skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in any of the following fields is required: X-ray detection, electronic surveillance, electrical engineering.
Ideally this experience must be gained from one of the following industries: X-ray detection - Electronic surveillance – Electrical engineering – IT support specialists. While not essential, prior experience with CT & EDS Imaging systems would be a significant advantage.
Furthermore, a successful candidate must show a willingness to learn and be prepared to undertake equipment training courses as required. This highlights the evolving nature of the technology in this field and the company's commitment to ongoing professional development. Finally, a full driving license is a practical necessity for this role.
