Hours:
- 6am – 2pm
- 2pm – 10pm (rotational shifts)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Days: Monday to Friday
Requirements: Must drive due to rural location
About the Role:
We are recruiting a Quality Controller to join a busy fruit farm warehouse team in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term position with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting fruit for quality, size, ripeness, grading, and defects
- Recording quality data accurately
- Working closely with production teams to ensure high standards are maintained
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Reporting any issues or non-conformities
- Supporting general warehouse operations when required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous quality control or food production experience is desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence and own transport is essential
- Reliability and a positive work ethic
