At The Chapel is an award-winning bakery and restaurant with rooms. Our bakery not only serves the restaurant and in-store retail shop but also supplies all six other restaurants within the Stay Original Co. group, as well as fulfilling online retail orders — making it a true hive of activity!
We’re passionate about crafting exceptional bread and celebrating the art of wood-fired baking. Every loaf is made the traditional, long-fermented way using just stone-ground organic flour, water, and salt. Some of our breads are gently leavened with a small amount of yeast, while others are enriched with generous helpings of fruits and seeds.
- You will be working 45 hrs per week. starting time would be late afternoon (5pm) and finish times will be, early mornings. (2am)
- 5 days per week, 9 hrs shifts
- We can be flexible on start and finish times, but it would be night shift work!
- Candidates need to be able to produce hand crafted bread to our high standards using traditional baking techniques including an excellent knowledge of dough and proofing.
- Applicants must be reliable, methodical, organised and keen to work as part of a team. The role involves all aspects of bread production - mixing, scaling, shaping by hand and baking.
