We are looking for an enthusiastic chef/cook to join the Funparx team. Our kitchen is fast paced and our menu consists mainly of pizzas, paninis, burgers and fries. We are always open to new suggestions and the menu is able to evolve accordingly.
As a member of the kitchen team, you will ensure our food is prepared and delivered quickly and to our high company standards to create the best experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced kitchen. You need to be a team player who takes pride in what you serve.
Position can be up to 20/30 hrs per week average with daytime, evening, and weekend shifts to be covered. During term time will also need to cover café. You can set your working rota between the two of you as long as all hours are covered.
The park opens 10am and kitchen/Cafe closes 8pm Tues-Sat. We open at 10.00am on Sundays and close 7.00pm. Kitchen hours are extended during school holidays as we are open all day.
Food hygiene level 2 certificate preferred but not essential
Applicant preferred to have 2 years kitchen experience and be fully knowledgeable on all protocols and legislation for food handling, prep and storage.
Will be okay with deep cleaning and daily cleaning of the cafe,kitchen and stock room on a daily basis.
