Trinity Surfacing Ltd is a well-established and rapidly expanding business, recognised as a leader within its sector. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our finance team on a 16-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful organisation and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
As Accountant, your duties will include:
- Completing month-end accounting processes
- Managing accruals and prepayments
- Preparing and submitting monthly VAT returns
- Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and audit requirements
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Maintaining Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions
- Preparing and submitting CIS returns
- Processing payroll, including pensions, wages, journals, and annual P11D submissions
- Filling on companies house
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role
- A strong understanding of accruals and prepayments
- Experience preparing and submitting P11D forms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using Sage Accounts and/or other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Essential Requirements
- AAT qualification
- Previous experience within the construction industry
- Sage Accounts experience preferred
