We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Housekeeper to join our team at The Royal Bath hotel. This historic 207-room hotel, established in 1838, is renowned as Bournemouth's first hotel. Your duties will include:
- Managing the Housekeeping department to ensure the cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas
- Recruiting, managing and developing your team
- Assisting the team in cleaning if required to ensure rooms are ready for our next guests
- Forecasting according to expected business and preparing staff rotas accordingly
- Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control.
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Working as part of the hotel management team
The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills as well as being an experienced hotel head housekeeper or a supervisor looking to take the next step in their career.
