Are you an experienced lettings professional looking for your next move? Cooper and Tanner are looking for a Senior Lettings Negotiator to join our fantastic team at our Frome office. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a growing portfolio, build lasting relationships with landlords and tenants, and play a key role in driving market dominance across your area.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, plus alternate Saturdays 9am to 1pm (with time back in lieu for each Saturday worked).
Weekly hours: 37.5
About the role
You'll provide a full estate agency service for the lettings office; from applicant and property registration through to valuations, viewings, move-ins and checkouts. Just as importantly, you'll be proactively growing our lettings portfolio by generating valuations and bringing new properties to market.
No two days are the same, so a flexible, hands-on approach is essential.
What you'll be doing
- Registering applicants and properties, handling advertising, inspections, valuations, viewings, move-ins and checkouts — a full service for landlords and tenants
- Generating valuations and bringing new properties to market to grow the portfolio
- Conducting accompanied viewings, reporting feedback and keeping keys and information secure in line with our GDPR practices
- Liaising between landlords, tenants and contractors, and handling client enquiries to the highest standard
- Keeping our property software (currently Jupix) accurate and up to date
- Supporting and training colleagues where required, and contributing to team meetings
What we're looking for
- Proven experience and success across all areas of letting property
- An excellent communicator who delivers outstanding service and builds strong rapport with the team
- High levels of literacy and numeracy (no formal qualifications required)
- Level 3 ARLA completed, or a willingness to work towards it
- Confident with IT, particularly Office 365 and CRM systems
- A valid driving licence and use of your own vehicle, insured for business use
Why join us?
- A supportive and experienced team, part of a multi-disciplined company
- Real responsibility from day one
- A chance to build a long-term career in the property industry
- A workplace culture built on our values: Trust, Respect, Integrity, Progressive, Professional
