A well-respected independent school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to teach motivated students in a supportive and values-driven environment.
The successful candidate will primarily teach up to KS4, although experience teaching KS5 would be advantageous.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes
- Monitoring progress and implementing effective intervention strategies
- Contributing to the wider life of the school community
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong Mathematics subject knowledge
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
- KS5 teaching experience desirable
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
