Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Driver to operate agricultural machinery . The successful candidate will be responsible for manoeuvring tractors safely and efficiently across various terrains, supporting farming activities. Responsibilities
- Operate tractors and related equipment in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment across the worksite as required
- Assist with loading and unloading using attached implements .
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal functioning and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and work completed
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating tractors in agricultural settings
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues independently
- Familiarity with excavator operation is advantageous, allowing for versatile support across various tasks
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing work demands
