Driver / Valeter (Hybrid Role)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and flexible Driver / Valeter to join our team. This hybrid role supports both our Driving and Valeting departments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of vehicles, as well as preparing vehicles to a high standard for customers and internal operations.
Previous experience in driving, vehicle valeting or the automotive industry is appreciated but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Driving
- Collect and deliver customer and company vehicles safely and professionally.
- Carry out vehicle inspections before and after transportation.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
- Ensure all paperwork and digital records are completed accurately.
Valeting
- Clean and prepare vehicles to a high presentation standard.
- Wash, vacuum and polish vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Carry out basic checks and report any damage or defects.
- Ensure vehicles are ready for customer handover or transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valeting area.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- One Saturday per calendar month (rota basis)
- Overtime available to support business needs
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Physically capable of carrying out valeting duties.
Desirable
- Previous experience as a driver, valeter or in the motor trade.
- Experience handling a variety of vehicle types.
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection processes.
