Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical installations.
- Diagnose and repair issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform welding, electrical repairs, and mechanical adjustments as required to maintain facility standards.
- Supervise maintenance tasks carried out by team members or contractors, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to maintenance issues, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Assist in supervising the maintenance team during shifts, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for various systems.
- Experience with welding techniques and electrical repairs within a commercial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Proven supervisory experience in a maintenance environment with leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude towards guests and staff alike.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within the team and with guests.

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,380.39 per year
