Stuart Power – Depot Manager

This role involves being responsible for overseeing all Engineers, Drivers and Yard Operatives at the Haydock depot and the checking and control of paperwork between depots whilst always fulfilling our excellent service standards.
This position is full time and is very much a hands-on role whilst leading a team.
Flexibility in respect of working hours is expected.
This role would be suited to someone who is a senior engineer looking to take on a supervisory role or an engineering supervisor looking for a new challenge.
Experience with generators is a key part of this role.
Required for this role:
- Ability to plan and allocate work and equipment for hire
- Good Knowledge of diesel engines/generators/plant
- Competent in fault diagnosis and repairs
- Good time management, ability to organise, prioritise and delegate work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Equipment checks
Desirable:
- Previous experience within the hire industry, but this is not essential as training will be given
- Experience within a similar supervisory role would be an advantage.
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.30pm
