We are looking for a reliable and experienced electrician or competent electrical improver to join us on a self-employed basis due to an increasing workload.
This role is not suitable for applicants who require constant supervision, are not confident working independently, or do not take pride in their work.
We carry out a mixture of domestic, commercial and new build projects across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, including installations, testing, fault finding and remedial works.
For qualified electricians, you must be confident attending jobs independently, carrying out testing and EICRs, and completing certification digitally. Improvers should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and be capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
You will be representing Arm Electrix Ltd, so a professional attitude, good communication and attention to detail are essential.

Minimum RequirementsQualified Electrician
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician.
- Confident carrying out testing and EICRs.
- Own van, tools and test equipment.
- Able to complete certification digitally.
Electrical Improver
- Minimum 2-3 years’ total experience.
- Own basic tools and PPE.
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
- Driving licence preferred.
