Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial settings.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict schedules.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing assigned tasks thoroughly.
- Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent time management skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
