Quicksilver Moving & Storage is looking for a reliable and hardworking Removal Porter / Van Driver to join our removals team.
This is a hands-on role where you will help deliver a high standard of service to our domestic and commercial customers. You will be involved in packing, loading, transporting, delivering and placing furniture and personal effects safely and professionally.
You will work as part of a removals crew, dealing with customers, handling their belongings with care, and helping ensure each move is completed safely, efficiently and to Quicksilver standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport and unload furniture, boxes and other items safely and efficiently.
- Drive company vans when required.
- Deliver, collect and place goods in line with customer instructions.
- Assist with packing, wrapping and protecting customers’ belongings.
- Handle all stock and customers’ personal effects carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Keep company vehicles, equipment and depot areas clean and tidy.
- Follow safe loading, unloading and manual handling procedures.
- Work nationally when required, including occasional overnight stays.
- Be flexible with duties to support the needs of the business.

Requirements
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Previous removals, delivery, transport or warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices would be an advantage.
- Training and induction will be provided.
Appointment may be subject to right-to-work checks, driving licence checks and any other checks required for the role.
