Rapid Personnel are recruiting for Machine Operators on the Greenham Business park to help produce award winning dressings, condiments, and marinades for one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers responsible for various well-known household brands.
This is a long term position and after 12 weeks you will be offered a permanent contract with the company directly. If you are looking for job security, then consider joining the largest manufacturing sector.
Please note that this position involves a large amount of heavy lifting therefore we are only seeking candidates that are able to complete these type of duties.
Pay and working hours available:
- Rotating shift- Monday to Friday one week on mornings 07:00-15:00 and the following week Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00= £14.30 per hour
- 37.5 hours /week
Or
- Static night shift- Sunday to Thursday 23:00-07:00= £15.37 per hour
- 37.5 hours /week
Machine Operator duties and responsibilities:
A Machine Operator should be able to complete physical duties and complete problem-solving tasks these may include:
- Maintaining a safe work environment and monitor equipment .
- To ensure that the weights, vacuum, torque and codes for each product is correct.
- To ensure that the labels and packaging is correct for the product
- To carry out and understand the cleaning procedures.
- To change over the machines for product and line changes.
- To manufacture the product to the required specification, in a quality and hygienic manner.
- Carrying out safety checks on the machinery
- Following established rules and procedure
- Lifting weight up to 20 kilogram
