What You'll Be Doing
As a Health Care Support Worker, you'll support adults living in supported living services to enjoy safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.
No two days are ever the same, but your role may include:
- Supporting with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
- Helping with meals, hydration and daily routines.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Encouraging service users to achieve personal goals and develop life skills.
- Assisting with mobility and daily activities.
- Following individual care plans.
- Keeping accurate records and reporting any changes.
- Creating a positive, safe and welcoming environment.
This is more than providing care—it's about helping people live life on their terms.
We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- At least 3-6 months' UK care/support work experience
- A caring and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- NISCC registration (or willingness to register)
- Willingness to complete mandatory training
- An Enhanced AccessNI check (or willingness to obtain one)
A driving licence is desirable but not essential.
