The Opportunity
You will manage your own varied caseload of family law matters while providing practical, empathetic, and commercially focused advice to clients during what can often be challenging periods in their lives.
Your caseload will include:
- Divorce and separation proceedings
- Financial remedy matters
- Private children law disputes
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications
- Financial claims involving unmarried couples
- Cohabitation disputes
- Child arrangements matters
- Separation agreements and related family law issues
You will have the autonomy to manage your matters independently while benefiting from the support of an experienced and approachable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse family law caseload from instruction through to conclusion
- Providing clear, practical, and client-focused legal advice
- Drafting court applications, witness statements, consent orders, and legal correspondence
- Representing clients throughout the progression of their matters
- Liaising with courts, barristers, experts, and third parties
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive status
- Experience handling a range of family law matters
- The ability to manage cases independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
