The Role
My client is looking for a driven and capable Branch Manager to lead a residential sales office. This is an ideal next step for an experienced residential valuer ready to move into their first management role and make it their own.
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the branch, leading a small team, driving sales performance and ensuring every client — vendor and buyer alike — receives an outstanding level of service.
As part of a multi-branch business, flexibility is an important part of the role. There may be occasions where you are required to support other offices within the business, whether through valuations, staffing support or assisting during busy periods. A collaborative and proactive attitude is essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Leadership & Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring it runs efficiently and professionally
- Lead, motivate and develop the branch team, setting clear expectations and supporting growth
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with company values
- Act as the face of the branch within the local community, building relationships with vendors, buyers and stakeholders
- Support other offices as required, including cross-cover for valuations, viewings or staffing
Sales Performance
- Drive branch sales performance against agreed targets
- Grow market share and identify opportunities for business growth
- Monitor pipeline activity, conversion rates and performance metrics, taking proactive steps to improve results
- Oversee sales progression from agreed sale through to completion, ensuring smooth transactions and reducing fall-throughs
- Report on branch performance and contribute to wider business initiatives
Valuations & Instructions
- Carry out residential sales valuations and convert appraisals into instructions
- Maintain a strong presence within the local market and identify new business opportunities
- Ensure accurate and competitive pricing to achieve the best outcomes for vendors while maintaining sales volumes
Client Experience
- Ensure every client interaction reflects a commitment to professional, personal service
- Handle escalated queries or complaints with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach
- Maintain high standards of communication throughout the sales process
About YouEssential
- Proven experience as a residential valuer with a strong track record of winning instructions and achieving sales
- Comprehensive understanding of the residential sales process from valuation through to completion
- Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with vendors, buyers and solicitors
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
- Passion for property and residential sales
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to provide support across multiple offices when required
Desirable
- Previous experience in a branch management, deputy management or team leadership role
- Strong knowledge of local property markets
- Industry qualifications or working towards them
- Experience using estate agency CRM systems and property software
