NC Associates are working in partnership with a rapidly growing business within the Renewables Sector to recruit a Management Accountant. Based in Manchester, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant looking to join a forward-thinking organisation operating within a high-growth and evolving industry.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, business partnering, and operational finance activities across the organisation.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs

Supporting month-end and year-end close processes

Performing balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
-
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
-
Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders
-
Supporting project costing and profitability analysis across renewable energy projects

Monitoring cash flow and supporting working capital management
-
Assisting with process improvement initiatives and system enhancements

Supporting audit requirements and compliance processes
-
Providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making
To be successful in your application, you should have the following experience:
Essential:
-
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
-
Previous experience within a Management Accountant or similar role

Strong management accounts and reporting experience
-
Excellent analytical and Excel skills
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
Desirable:

Experience within renewables, energy, infrastructure, or project-based industries

Exposure to business partnering and commercial finance activities
-
Experience with ERP or cloud-based finance systems
