An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious pharmacist to join the innovative Clinical Cancer Services team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. This rare senior role offers the opportunity to develop within a specialist area while making a real impact within a close-knit multidisciplinary team.
We are seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist with excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills and a passion for high-quality patient care. Previous chemotherapy experience is not essential, as full specialist training and support will be provided on site. This role is ideal for pharmacists looking to broaden their clinical career into cancer services and develop expertise within oncology, haematology and palliative care.
You will work closely within the MDT, leading clinical decision-making, prioritising patient-focused care and contributing to service development and innovation.

You will provide a pharmacy service as part of our clinical cancer services team, in particular Oncology, Haematology and Hospice specialities focussing on the inpatient setting. The intention of this role is for the successful candidate to be fully imbedded within the inpatient settings and to represent pharmacy in these settings.
We are a super friendly team with a passion for delivering excellent patient care. We have a bright and airy department with a large tearoom and access to outdoor open spaces to improve wellbeing. Our service is open 7 days a week and our current opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm (with no late night rota), Saturday 9am-1pm and Sunday 9.30am-1pm. Weekend shifts are 1 in 8 with one bank holiday per year.
