Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Wholesale Manager at Setyres located in Totton.
As an Assistant Wholesale Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Wholesale Manager in managing wholesale operations, coordinating with suppliers, overseeing inventory management, and maintaining client relationships and sales to other garages
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a wholesale or sales role
- Tyre knowledge is essential for this role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Experience managing and analysing inventory levels
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve sales strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all wholesale operations
Experience
Due to the nature of the role and the responsibilities involved, Previous experience in a sales role within the tyre trade is a necessity. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
