Job Summary
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, specialising in deliveries requiring HIAB crane operations. Duties
- Operate HGV Class 2 lorries equipped with HIAB cranes to deliver goods to various locations in the Central Belt.
- Load and unload items using the HIAB crane, ensuring secure handling of all cargo.
- Conduct pre-journey safety checks on the vehicle and equipment before each shift.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to deliveries and vehicle logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including the safe operation of flatbed loads when required.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with relevant experience in commercial driving.
- Proven experience operating HIAB cranes, preferably with flatbed loads.
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of road networks and navigation skills within the local area and beyond.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent health and safety awareness, with a focus on safe lifting techniques and vehicle operation.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality at all times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by scheduling demands.

Pay: £12.63-£22.76 per hour
