We are looking for a Pharmaceutical Process Expert (PPE) to support and optimise manufacturing processes within our Wrexham site. This is a key technical role focused on ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient production of pharmaceutical products. You’ll act as a technical expert, working cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement across operations. This is a temporary role until end of Dec 2027.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for manufacturing processes, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Engineering
- Lead or support investigations (deviations, CAPAs) and implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and batch records
- Support process validation, tech transfer, and implementation of new products/processes
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Experience in a similar role, with experience either from manufacturing or a life sciences degree
- Knowledge of change controls and QEVs
- Experience with tech transfer or project management
- Proven problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and investigations
- Ability to train and coach
