We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Care Home Administrator to oversee the smooth operation of our care facility. Duties
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations within the care home, including scheduling, record keeping, and correspondence.
- Utilise QuickBooks for financial management, invoicing, and budgeting purposes.
- Supervise administrative staff and support team management activities, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining staff records.
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations and care standards, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain effective communication channels with residents, families, staff, and external agencies via phone and email.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes to facilitate effective team coordination.
- Ensure the office environment remains professional, welcoming, and efficiently organised.
Skills
- Proven experience in office administration, clerical work or similar roles within a healthcare or care home setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in team management and supervising staff members to achieve operational goals.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial tasks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to recruitment and staff management.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation.
