Yard Marshall role - New Southgate, N11, London
Salary: £28,730 - £30,940
Shift Options: 06:00–15:00 or 08:15–17:15
5 day working week on a rotating rota (includes alternate weekends)
Sunday uplift: Additional £2 per hour
We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join one of the South East’s leading builders merchants in a busy Traffic Marshall / Site Security role.
This position is less focused on traditional security duties and more centred around managing the safe flow of HGVs and customer vehicles throughout the depot, while supporting customers and working closely with the yard and forklift teams.
The Role
- Marshalling HGVs and customer vehicles safely around the site
- Greeting customers and checking invoices and collections
- Communicating with forklift drivers to coordinate orders
- Monitoring site access and maintaining a safe working environment
- Providing a professional and approachable presence on site
