The Client:

Operating in a clean, modern environment, this company specialises in sustainable waste management using advanced machinery including control panels, conveyors, extruders, balers, and compactors. Due to continued investment and growth, we are now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Package:
- £37,000–£45,000pa depending on experience
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays

The Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of recycling machinery
- Fault finding and repairs on control panels, conveyors, extruders, balers, and compactors
- Work from electrical and mechanical schematics
- Minimise downtime and ensure smooth operation of production equipment
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability
The Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and/or mechanical)
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to read schematics
- Experience working with automated machinery or within recycling/manufacturing environments
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical discipline
- Team player with a proactive and safety-conscious approach
