Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Friday Changeover Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a luxury holiday property in Porthleven. Hours will generally be between 10am and 230pm depending on departure numbers. The changeover will need to be carried out to the highest standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for our visitors. Previous experience in changeovers, or hotel housekeeping required.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and changeover a holiday property on Fridays, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and sanitising surfaces
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments to meet guest expectations
- Ensure any health and safety or fire safety forms are filled out before guest check-in
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain a high level of organisation and cleanliness in storage areas and housekeeping carts
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional cleaning duties as required to support the overall cleanliness of the premises
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or changeovers is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures is advantageous
This position is ideal for someone looking for a part time position in between school hours.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
