The Role
We’re looking for a caring, motivated, and confident Senior Support Worker to help lead our team and support adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs to live fulfilling, person-centred lives.
You’ll provide hands-on support while helping coordinate shifts, supervise staff, maintain high standards of care, and create meaningful opportunities for the people we support both at home and in the community.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and supporting Support Workers on shift
- Delivering person-centred care and promoting independence
- Supporting with personal care, medication, cooking, cleaning, and daily living skills
- Planning activities and community engagement opportunities
- Supporting staff development through supervision and guidance
- Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour support
- Working closely with families, professionals, and the wider management team

- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live great lives
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
- Health & Social Care Level 3 desirable
