We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Oversee the quality control of ingredients and finished dishes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including utensils and equipment
- Support junior kitchen staff where necessary, providing guidance and training as required
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Knowledge of diverse culinary techniques and cuisines is advantageous
- Serving experience is beneficial but not essential; however, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is important
