Overview
Dropp Logistics are looking for a large number of full time, temp to perm Class 1 Drivers to work for our fantastic client out of Amesbury.
Days - 0800-1400 start times available
5 on 3 off rota
Fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent contract with a global haulier
Duties
- 1 to 2 drops per day, store deliveries (single or double decker trailer)
- Remove cages from trailer into store
- 11.5 hours average shift length including breaks
- 5 on 3 off rota
- 0800-1400 starts (start time will always be between 0800/1200 or 1200/1400 depending on preference

- Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with double decker trailers or similar heavy goods vehicles
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability in meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of current road laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Ability to operate flatbeds and secure loads appropriately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when required
