Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm plus call outs on rota
Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid lunch plus two 15 minute paid breaks

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment

Complete MOT preparation and inspection work

Ensure all work meets manufacturer and health and safety standards

Complete accurate job cards and service documentation

Work effectively as part of a workshop team

Respond to call outs when on rota
Skills and Experience
Essential
-
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent experience

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician

Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability

Good attention to detail and quality focus

Full UK driving licence
Desirable

HGV licence

Experience in a dealership or fleet environment
