Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team here at Forss House Hotel. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in QuickBooks and other systems
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents
- Assist with correspondence via email and postal mail
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
- Support other administrative staff with various clerical tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven office experience or previous reception/administrative roles
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated professionalism with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail
