We are looking for a PHP developer to join our team, supporting and maintaining existing systems with some ad hoc feature development as the role progresses.
Skills Required
- PHP (OOP preferred)
- MySQL
- MVC knowledge (CodeIgniter experience ideal, but any MVC framework is transferable)
- Basic WordPress knowledge
- FTP
- GitHub
The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of PHP to carry out fixes and improvements to our systems. No large-scale development work is expected in the early stages of the role. CodeIgniter experience is a bonus, but candidates with experience in other MVC frameworks are encouraged to apply.
Role Responsibilities
- PHP updates and maintenance
- Server maintenance (supported by a managed hosting team)
- CodeIgniter framework maintenance and updates
- Ad hoc feature development and bug fixes
- MySQL management, including custom reporting and data retrieval
- WordPress maintenance
- Application testing
Pay: £31,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
