Our Team Leaders are allocated to a specific local area, working consistently with the same group of staff and clients. This approach means they are fully embedded within their patch, ensuring they are accessible, visible, and able to provide regular hands-on support.
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and organised Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of our community care services. This is a great opportunity for someone with care experience who is confident leading a team, looking to take the next step in their career, and able to balance hands-on support with supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out staff supervisions, spot checks, and observations
Completing and monitoring medication competencies
Providing care and support to clients within the community
Supporting and guiding care staff to ensure high standards are maintained
Working closely with care coordinators to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Responding to any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
Supporting with training and development of staff where required
Requirements:
Previous experience within care
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good understanding of care standards and best practices
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
