Head Chef - Cannonball Restaurant & Bar
Contini is looking for a talented and confident Head Chef to lead one of our iconic Edinburgh kitchens. This is a senior leadership position for a driven professional who can balance high-volume operations with a relentless focus on quality. Cannonball Restaurant & Bar is focued on providing traditional, seasonal Scottish food with a contemporary twist whilst providing a fine dining experience with a view. Located next to Edinburgh Castle, it is the heart of the city. This is a full-time post worked over 4 days, guaranteeing 3 days off a week.

Responsibilities
- Culinary Direction: Design and execute seasonal menus using our network of 70+ local suppliers alongside our Senior Management team.
- Operations: Full accountability for GP, inventory control, and kitchen efficiency.
- Compliance: Maintain rigorous health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing kitchen team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with the wider management team.
- Commitment to sustainable, seasonal, and high-quality cuisine.

Salary range advertised is On Target Earnings and therefore inclusive of tips.
