Summary
Ripley St Thomas CE Academy, Lancaster, require a Teaching and Learning Support Worker to. provide dedicated 1:1 for a secondary aged pupil with a strong Deaf identity by supporting communication and learning using British Sign Language (BSL) throughout the day. The role is to create a rich language environment with full access to the curriculum, promoting independence and ensuring additional needs including Sensory Processing differences and possible Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD/internalised PDA) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) arent barriers to achievement.
The contract of employment for the successful candidate will be fixed term in nature and linked specifically to a pupil within school. In the event the pupil leaves school, the contract of employment would automatically come to an end with a 4 week notice period.
