The East Kent, a popular pub in the heart of Whitstable, is looking for an experienced and personable General Manager to lead our team and drive the success of the business which is about to re-open under new management
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pub
- Lead and manage a team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure efficient bar service, including high standards in cocktail preparation
- Drive sales and meet performance targets
- Manage stock, rotas, and health & safety compliance
- Build strong relationships with customers, staff, and the local community
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager or similar role in a pub, bar, or hospitality venue
- Cocktail trained
- A real people person with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
