Overview
We are currently looking for a customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Working as part of a small team, this is a hands-on role which involves customer service, store operations including stock replenishment, ensuring good visual standards throughout the store.
The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
The hours of work are based on 24 hours per week, with the opportunity for extra shifts available to a max of 30 hours per week for holiday cover. Some weekend working is involved on a rota basis.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Maintain attractive and well-organised merchandise displays in line with merchandising standards
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries confidently
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure product availability
Requirements
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and organisational abilities.
