CNC Creations is a small family-owned panel processing company that machines kitchen and wardrobe components, a range of decorative MDF panels, and various bespoke projects for a range of applications.
We are looking for a practical, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team as a Workshop Assistant / Driver. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a positive attitude, and is keen to develop new skills within a busy workshop environment. The balance between workshop and driving duties will vary depending on business requirements and workload. Some weeks may involve more time spent making deliveries, while others may be primarily workshop-based. Flexibility and a willingness to undertake both aspects of the role are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sanding and prepping materials for painting and finishing
Assisting with day-to-day workshop tasks and machinery operation
Carry out deliveries to residential and commercial customers
Loading, unloading and keeping the workshop tidy and organised
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good communication - you'll be the face of the business on deliveries
Polite, professional and comfortable dealing with customers in person and on the phone
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy products safely
